The Driverge Toyota Sienna Hybrid FlexMaxx® was developed for modern taxi and rideshare fleets that need accessibility without sacrificing efficiency. Toyota Sienna Hybrid FlexMaxx® rear-entry loading makes it easier to load and unload wheelchair passengers in locations where space is limited.

Yes. All Driverge taxi and rideshare conversions are ADA and FMVSS compliant, with CMVSS compliance available for Canadian markets. Several rear-entry ramp conversions, including the Toyota Sienna Hybrid FlexMaxx, are approved for use by the New York City Taxi and Limousine Commission (TLC).
A rear-entry taxi loads the wheelchair passenger through the back of the vehicle using a fold-out ramp, which works well in tight urban spaces like driveways and one-way streets. A side-entry taxi loads from the curb through a side door, which some operators prefer street-side hailing.
A StreetSmart® Ramp is a patented wheelchair ramp system developed by Driverge for select accessible vehicles, including the Toyota Sienna. Unlike a conventional wheelchair ramp, the StreetSmart® Ramp is removable, providing operators with added flexibility. The detached ramp can be used to help navigate curbs or other obstacles when needed. When a wheelchair passenger is not being transported, the ramp stows flat in the rear cargo area, making it easier to load and store luggage, equipment, or other cargo.
Key features:
Removable ramp. Unlike most permanently attached ramps, the StreetSmart ramp can be detached from the vehicle when needed.
Portable use. Once removed, it can be used outside the vehicle to help a wheelchair user navigate curbs, sidewalks, or other small elevation changes. This is especially useful when a destination lacks accessible curb cuts.
Rear-entry design. The wheelchair user enters through the rear of the Toyota Sienna rather than through the side.
ADA compliant. The conversion is designed to meet ADA accessibility requirements for commercial applications such as paratransit, non-emergency medical transportation (NEMT), taxis, and rideshare fleets.
