Driverge does the same conversions on both Chrysler Pacificas and Voyagers. We offer side- and rear-entry options. All side-entry minivans feature power lifts, and all rear-entry vans offer no-maintenance manual ramps.

Full-cut, rear-entry Chryslers allow for two wheelchairs to be transported. Short-cut, rear-entry Chryslers allow one wheelchair to be transported. In both cases, wheelchair passengers enter and exit the vehicle using easy-to-use manual ramps. All rear-entry Chryslers are ADA compliant.

The center-cut Chryslers are side-entry vans with automatic lifts that allow the passenger to sit in the second-row area while the third-row seating remains unmodified. Full-cut, side-entry accessible Chryslers allow the wheelchair user to either drive or sit in the front row as a passenger.

Chrysler Pacifica or Voyager Patriot

Are Chrysler Minivans safe? 

Absolutely! The Pacifica received a TOP SAFETY PICK + rating from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety in 2022, and the Pacifica-Voyager Wheelchair Accessible Vehicles maintain factory appearance, handling and performance. Plus, Driverge crash tests every model of conversion van we upfit. Wheelchair passengers are secured with AMK(?) restraints that safely anchor the wheelchair. Optional electronic retractors are available from Driverge. 

Are Chrysler conversion vans available in All-Wheel-Drive? 

Unfortunately, no. The work necessary to convert the van into one which makes onboarding wheelchairs easy and comfortable does not leave room for rear-wheel drive trains, so all Chrysler conversion vans are front wheel drive. 

How many passengers can be transported at a time in a Dodge Grand Caravan converted by Driverge?  

  • The side-entry minivans with power fold-our ramp can accommodate up to five people including one wheelchair passenger and driver.  
  • The ADA-compliant rear-entry Flex4 with manual ramp FlexFlat ramp can transport up to two passengers plus two wheelchairs; or four passengers and one wheelchair user; or four ambulatory passengers.  
  • Flex6 vans can transport up to four passengers plus two wheelchairs; or four passengers and one wheelchair user; or six ambulatory passengers. 

How long is the warranty protection on a Driverge minivan conversion?  

For consumer owners, new conversions by Driverge are covered for four years or 50,000 miles. For commercial owners, a new conversion is covered for three years or 36,000 miles.
