After offering our rear-entry conversion vans with a fold-out wheelchair ramp for several years, we heard one comment over and over – we love your vans, but don't like how the ramp stands up when not in use. It just gets in the way. So we took our customers comments and put our engineers to work. After a considerable amount of design work and testing, in 2014 we introduced our Flex Flat Ramp to the US market. It has since been a huge success and is now standard on every Ford Transit Connect that we build!

The lightweight fold-up ramp stores flat and creates a trunk-like floor for those times when picking up ambulatory passengers with luggage, golf clubs, boxes or more. Also available on the Ford Transit Connect, Toyota Sienna, and Dodge Grand Caravan, the Flex Flat ramp design is perfect for non-emergency medical transport, nursing homes, hotels, taxi or rideshare use.
